Dora Takako Mori, 89, of Holualoa died April 11 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hakalau, she retired as school secretary at Kailua Elementary and Kealakehe Elementary and Intermediate schools. She was a member of the Waiaha Kumiai, Fukuoka Kenjin Kai, Senior Bowling League and Parks and Recreation Bowling League. She was a volunteer with the Kona Senior Coordinated Services and the Blood Bank of Hawaii. Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 26 at Lanakila Congregational Church in Kainaliu for a 10 a.m. memorial service. Casual attire. No koden. Ethel Fumiyo (Fumi) Gushiken, 87, of Hilo died April 7 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a retired seamstress for Hilo Hattie and also had worked at Waiakeawaena School. She was a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and Hui Okinawa. Private services held.
